Jonathan H. Mack, Psy.D., ABN is a Board Certified Neuropsychologist and licensed psychologist in NJ and PA, a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Dr. Mack is a nationally recognized expert in forensic mental health evaluations of homicide cases, as well as in Child Custody, Civil Cases, Parental Capacity, Fitness for Duty of Public Safety Personnel, as well as in forensic matters involving neuropsychological evaluation of children including best interest of the child and academic accommodations and needs. Civil cases include Workers Compensation, auto accidents, toxic brain injury, medical malpractice, testamentary competence and any civil matter where psychological or neuropsychological damages or civil capacity are at issue. Areas of expertise include mental state at the time of a crime, civil competency, competency to stand trial and to waive rights, parental fitness, best interest of the child, psychological and neuropsychological damages in a wide range of civil cases with adults and children, malingering, traumatic brain injury, dementia/stroke, posttraumatic stress disorder, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Dissociative Disorders, co-morbid brain injury and mental health disorders, Intellectual Disability, Sexual Abuse, Child Abuse and Neglect, etc.
Dr. Mack is the co-author of The Making of Lee Boyd Malvo, the DC Sniper with Carmeta Albarus (Columbia University Press, 2012). Dr. Mack has testified over 200 times in State and Federal court in NJ, PA, DE, VA, NY and NV. Dr. Mack has worked in numerous states on criminal cases including NJ, PA, DE, VA, FL, AL, MI. NV, and CA.
Dr. Mack has been the Director of Forensic Psychology and Neuropsychology Services and Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Associates since 1992. Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Associates provides clinical neuropsychological and psychological services to adults and children, focusing on Workers Compensation, auto accident cases and children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum and Learning Disorders as well as working in the broad area of behavioral medicine.
Dr. Mack received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology with a neuropsychology specialization track from the Virginia Consortium for Professional Psychology (APA-approved) and completed his APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at the Irving Schwartz Institute for Children and Youth and the Philadelphia Psychiatric Center. He was a clinical instructor in the department of neurology of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School when he first began private practice. Dr. Mack has a team of clinicians who together supply a full range of clinical and forensic neuropsychological and psychological services. Forensic Psychology and Neuropsychology Services, PC and Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Associates are both training sites for pre-doctoral externs and post-doctoral fellows in neuropsychology and psychology.
